What is a good place for a job advertisement for a friend who's looking for a job as a maid in Bangkok and is searching for a reliable employer ?

I did place an advertisement in the "hire me" section of ThaiVisa, so far one reaction. Any suggestions where else to advertise ?

Is she Thai, Philippina or of other nationality and does she have a good command in spoken English?

She is Thai and can speak basic English.

It's too late too edit my reply, but I would like to "addit" that her English is more than basic : "she has a good command in spoken English." Furthermore she is intelligent and has experience in house keeping. So if anyone has any suggestions, I would be glad to receive them.

I would suggest putting a notice up outside Villa Supermarket on Suhkumvit Rd (near Phrom Pong BTS station) many people advertise here, condos, cars, help wanted, etc. When I was there last week I noticed that someone was looking for a placement for their former maid as they were leaving Thailand, she seemed to be well recommended by her former employer. As the supermarket caters for expats in the main, many Thia maids use the noticeboard there to find domestic work with farang households.

Other than that I would ask fellow expats if their maid knows of anyone looking for a job, just make sure they have references and that you check up on them by contacting the reference providers.

Good luck in your search.
