M r . Wiarawat Kakhai, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya, announced that a budget of 7.5 million baht has been allocated for the 2010 New Year’s party. This year’s extravaganza will take place from December 25-31 at the Bali Hai Pier; and, as usual, there will be concerts and all kinds of entertainment to celebrate the New Year.

Among the highlights will be concerts by leading Thai artists, Thai traditional performances, talent contests, live performances from professional DJs and dazzling fireworks. There will also be many booths selling delicious food and unique products, as well as, many prize giveaways throughout the celebration.

“Further details on the booths and other activities will be discussed and finalized with organizers later on to make sure that it stays within budget”, added Mr. Kakhai.
