Good Restaurants/bars Near Ratchada@ Huay Kwang?

Featured Replies

Can anybody provide any recommendations? Will be moving to this area soon, close to Huay Kwang MRT, and looking for some local food & booze establishments... cheers :)

If you're into seafood then there's Somboon Seafood restaurant which I find very good.

Then you've got the Emerald Hotel which houses 3 or 4 restaurants. I've only eaten the Japanese buffet there (3 times) which I find very good value.

Across the road from the Emerald Hotel is Swissotel Le Concorde Hotel. This Hotel also houses 3 or 4 restaurants. I've only had the Chinese buffet here, and again, it's good. They often have various offers on in their restaurants (usually advertised outside the Hotel).

A little further up Ratchada is the Chaophya Park Hotel, again 4/5 restaurants of good quality here.

Going slightly more 'down market' now is a great little restaurant called 'Kwang' seafood (I think). It's located just south of Le Concorde Hotel on the corner.....love it.

As far as booze establishments go on Huay Kwang, I can't really help you too much but with RCA and Ratchada Soi 4 both just a short taxi ride away I don't think you'll go short.

If you are looking for the equivalent booze establishments that are between Nana and Soi Cowboy, there aren't any in Huay Kwang.

Most entertainment outlets with booze are suited for locals and asian expats.
