i have no installation companies to recommend as i did mine myself

i bought a Yale premier wireless system on Ebay and added loads of extra from other sellers

i had the bits shipped out here, which saved me about half the retail price here.

you can have 20 items on the one system excluding sirens so its comprehensive

its been great, no false activations, easy to fit and use

i highly recommend it

Alarm is good, but you also need someone who will respond to this. There are some good companies providing alarm installation and patrol service (in Bangkok), not sure about other parts of Thailand.

I think they look a bit extreme for my needs...

Big dogs have been proven to be far more effective than alarm systems, less annoying too so I've heard.
