* Bill as in till receipt in this instance

I did a purchase that was priced at 450 baht and when paying for it the cashier billed it automatically at 520 baht.

I noticed on checking my change that there was an overcharge of 70 baht before even looking at the bill.

When pointing this out to her she just said to wait and after serving another customer went to another till and came back with another bill that was minus the overcharge.

She didn,t even go to check the items price tag on the display ??????

Seems to me there may be yet another scam ongoing to get additional funds / pocket money.

Sooooooo ! check the price tag and then your till receipts, especially if you have several items on it.

Luckily, I only had the one item, so it wasn,t difficult to spot the discrepancy.

P.S.

I,ve learned long ago to routinely check all my bills for this sort of thing.

It also keeps the old grey matter exercised for an added bonus. :)
