Hello! I will be stopping in Samui next month before settling in C.Mai.

As an interested musician,I would like to know if Coco's is still in existence(and where its located) or if there are any other blues venues

on Samui....Thanx much in advance, the Harpman

Dave,I figured if Cannonball plays there from time to time,it must at least sometimes live up to its name.We shall see..

Ive been to Chaweng before and I certainly have determined what to avoid.(most anywhere the 20 something

loud party crowd hangs out)

Major, your description of the place is vague to say the least, but once again I will be going to see for myself soon enough....

Valentino, thanx for the link, site very sparse tho....

They organised quite a decent music festival with a wide variety of bands and music. Some of the musicians were quite excellent. Of course they can't keep this sort of standard all the time.

It can be a little loud in there sometimes, but it is a welcome quality addition to the Chaweng Beach road.
