agree. the even full sun light does nothing for the image

As a follow up to my first post, may I suggest you stick your big toe in the frame next time to give it some scale (and sense of emotion, albeit painful I would imagine)

2nd is better!

These turtles are not that easy to shoot well...in your pic it's hard to tell the scale and unfortunately the turtle's head is badly overexposed and thus lacking detail.

However I like turtles... they can be funny...
