Looking For Steel Fence Posts

Featured Replies

Does anyone know where I can buy some star pickets - or t-posts, y-posts, waratahs, whatever you may call them? Preferably pre-drilled and coated or dipped. Hopefully in the Buri Ram or Bangkok area. I don't need that many and it's not worth importing them. They're much easier to put in than concrete posts. There's lengths of steel rather like a u-post I've seen here, uncut and undrilled, but it's not really the right stuff for outdoors.

Here's a post from last year that may help you:

Sorry that was not much help.

I remember another thread where it was discussed in more detail.

I thought it was that one. :)

Maybe on another forum then ..

I'll have a look ..

I think this is what you were looking for:

A company in BKK. that sells square mesh fence from Australia.

80 baht / sq.m. for 1.8m? I think. They also have the star pickets , hammer, stretcher (500B) etc. to instal it.

No welding, just unroll stretch and wire /staple.

Aus Fence 02 271 0967 02 271 0967 near Chatuchuk

Good Luck!

Thanks xerostar, I'd just about given up, that's why I posted. I'll be down in Bangkok in a few days and I'll follow it up from there. :):D:D
