It sounds like you plan to add a substantial load to your system. This means that certain things must be known before carrying out any work. These things are;

1] The size of the KWH (kilowatt hour) meter - if you try to pull too much current through it, the meter may be damaged or destroyed & you may be faced with the cost of a new meter.

2] The size of the cables from the KWH meter to your consumer unit & the length of the cables - the cable size is usually printed on the cable. It is in square millimetres.

3] The layout of your consumer units - are the other consumer units fed from the main consumer unit? What size & quantity of each circuit breaker is in each consumer unit?

4] Is there an earth stake? (ground rod).

Other questions.

1] Do you have any earth leakage protection?

2] Do you currently suffer any electrical problems? - brown outs, power outages, electrical equipment failure etc.

Other information.

If a new (larger) KWH meter is required, the local energy authority will need to be contacted. They may also tell you that you are not permitted any upgrade in power consumption.
