American Shop Owner And His Wife Confronted By Man Attempting To Steal Items From Their Third Floor Bedroom.

Pattaya, December 7 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : Late on Sunday Night, Police were called to a remote controlled car shop located on the Tepprasit Road in Jomtien following the apprehension of a man suspected of attempting to steal items from a third floor bedroom. Officers were met by Mr. Ron Weaver aged 34 from America and his Thai girlfriend who reported they had detained a Thai Man after catching him attempting to steal a mobile phone and a Buddhist Amulet from a third floor bedroom while the pair were eating in their ground floor shop. Police arrested Khun Suriyan aged 22 and asked him to reveal the identity of a second man who was able to escape. He refused to give up the name of his friend and at Pattaya Police Station; Khun Suriyan confessed to the attempted theft and claimed he wanted to raise some money to purchase Yabba Tablets. During the attempted robbery, Mr. Weaver explained that he was able to detain one of the men thanks to his superior strength. Police charged the suspect with attempted theft and are now attempting to locate the second suspect wanted in connection with the case.
