Chaweng Accomodation

Featured Replies

Planning to have our holidays in Koh Samui coming August and would like to stay in Chaweng Beach, so need to know which hotel has fitness room, good swimming pool and not expensive.

Thanks in advance

Just got back from Chaweng, stayed at the "Chaweng Beach Hotel" small place to the North on the main drag, no pool or gym for 1,300 Baht night, so hotels are not cheap, Decent places I saw were 3-4K a night!

There's gyms in Chaweng. Most hotels have good pools, so take it from there, since the combination you're looking for isn't cheap.

Central Beach Resort in Chaweng offers what you want, but rates are 5K upwards.

Hotels with pools are easy to find. Gym's are not. The Regent Chaweng and the Central Resort Chaweng have the two best gyms and pools in hotels. Yes - rates are about 5k a night. Maybe lower in August as is low season. There is a gym in town called Nautilous. Not sure of the rates but it looks ok.

Thank you all.

One question: in August is low season?? Everywhere information I found from Koh Samui it has been said that you will have good weather, sunny days in August as this is their high season even the hotels rates are higher. So is it like this .....

All of Europe pretty much has holidays in august. That month is very much high season on Samui and you bet all hotel rates are higher than.

Weather is great, not as hot as in april, diving is fantastic, up to 30m + visibility.
