Unboxed Canon Lenses

Featured Replies

Fotofile have some tempting promotions for Canon EOS 500D and 7D kits at the moment. the lenses are described as having "no box". Is it what it means or am I missing something?! I am happy to do without the box! Please help

Interesting. Display lenses? What did they say about the warranty?

I am not quite ready to buy yet, but probably will, and I was hoping to find the kit that includes the 7D and the shorter lens (not the 28-135). I haven't seen that kit yet here in Thailand, and in fact, the other day when I was browsing at Central World, several of the shops were out of the 7D completely. Must be doing well here.

It's been interesting to see how photography has taken off as a hobby here. The number of Thais I see with more-than point-and-shoot cameras is encouraging.

Noticed the same thing myself. I was out at dawn last Sunday at the hot air balloon festival east of Pattaya and was amazed at the amount of people there as well as the amount of dslrs in the hands of locals. Most were entry level with their kit lens, but nevertheless a step up from the point and shoot.

Possibly lenses offered in some other "kit" deal and not required?

Check the condition and the guarantee offered.
