Hi guys,

Want know if a transfer of motorbike (ER6N) requires an Embassy letter if in farang's name or if workpermit is enough?

Thanks

Work permit is usually accepted as sufficient proof of adress, Thai drivers license is not. Not same in all Land Transpot departments though. Yellow housebook is always accepted.

OK, if bike has BKK plates and I want to buy it and transfer to my wife's name but her Tabien is a Korat address, will there be a problem? She doesnt live in BKK or Korat she lives in Chonburi.
