FA Cup 4th round draw

Navy Rayong v BKK Utd

CHONBURI v Samut Songkhram

Army v PEA

Sisaket v TTM

BEC Tero v Nakhon Pathom

Rajpracha v SriRacha

Bang Phra v Osotspa

Muang Thong v Air Force Utd

When will these ties take place SriRachaShark?

They are supposed to take place on August 11th and August 25th. However, as Thailand are also scheduled to play Singapore on the 11th, I would imagine some of them will be moved. Especially as the international will be at the Yamaha Stadium, which is the home of Muang Thong Utd. The local football authorities have surpassed themselves this time. :)

So far it's

August 11th

Bang Phra v Osotspa

Army v PEA

BEC Tero v Nakhon Pathom

Muang Thong v Air Force

August 25th

Sisaket v TTM

Rajpracha v SriRacha

Navy Rayong v BKK Utd

CHONBURI v Samut Songkhram

I'll post any updates when I learn of them.

Double header this weekend. Off to watch Bangkok Glass v Tot tomorrow with Spit the dog. And then we're off to Muangthong v Thai Port on Sunday evening. Hopefully a shock win for the Klong Toey Army.

Read that Buriram PEA with their Kingpower connections are in talks to buy a large share of Leicester City F.C. with the possibility of one or two of Leicester's young 'uns playing over here! I can just imagine it ...

'Tommy son, you need to go out on loan to get first team some experience.'

'Where am I going, gaffer? Newcastle? Milton Keynes? Rochdale? Berwick Rangers? Skegness?'

'Mmmmmm ... actually you're off to play in the Premier League.'

'Fantastic! Where?'

'Well, it's the Thai Premier League and the team plays in the middle of nowhere in a place called Buriram.'

'Eh? What? Where? <deleted>?!?'

Did you see the Bangkok Glass bunnies?

Pictures of the bunnies please instead of pics of you 2 on FB.

As requested.

Bangkok Glass' game with TOT wasn't bad. First visit to the Leo Stadium. I can confirm that Spit The Dog enjoyed the beer and the bunnies. It's a promising looking ground. One top though, is get there early if you want a decent view from the smaller stand that runs down the side of the pitch as the fence at the bottom will spoil your view if you end up sat near the front. Consequently we left 5 minutes into the game with cries of 'farang pai nai waaa' ringing in our ears and made our way to the more spacious big end behind the goal from which you can get an excellent view of both the pitch and passing airplanes! Not a good spot if you suffer from vertigo. First time we've ever paid twice to see the same match but at 80 baht nothing to get too worked up about. Although he didn't say it, I think Spit's motivation for moving was to be closer to the bunnies who took up position behind the goal.

Haven't been able to find any figures for the attendance, but it was something like 4-5,000. Friendly fans and a reasonable game of football. The highlight was Michael Byrne's goal on his debut which was wonderfully created and set up by a defence splitting ball. All in all a good evening of footy.

Hi :)

Are you guys going to a game on the 28th of August? I am in BKK that weekend and I would love to tag along.

Cheers

Pompui

It is possible that the TPL matches scheduled for the 28th and 29th August will be moved, in order to stage a round of the new League Cup competition. It's best to keep checking. I'll post on here when I know for certain.
