A very poor performance by Buriram yesterday after last weeks display at TTM i was expecting a more positive response but 2 nil down at halftime and it should have been more pulled one back and with 6 minutes of injury time we somehow managed to score twice to take all 3 points.I think they need a few home truths told to them,Rangsan,Suchao etc should be dropped as they are going through the motions IMHO

Chonburi looked very strong on Saturday (and thanks to Srirachashark for helping me drum up a ticket!)

Quite a slaughter - 6-1 - I have seen them play enough games that I think they are definitely stronger than PEA, at least as of now - we'll see what happens!

I headed out to Saraburi on Sunday, and was pleasantly surprised to see Sriracha eke out a 2-1 win -

Buriram PEA have a chance to distance themsleves from rivals Chonburi and Muang Thong United, as those to teams have a week off to prepare for midweek fixtures in the AFC Cup. A win at Samut Songkram would see PEA open up a 6-point lead on Chonburi in 2nd, and put them15 points ahead of 5th-placed MTU, leaving the defending champions a mountain to climb as the halfway stage of the season approaches. 3rd-placed Police could also lose ground on the leaders, as they were to face Muang Thong. 6th-placed Army also have the week off On Saturday, Sri Racha will look for a 3rd straight win over stuttering TOT, which could see the Marlins climb out of the drop zone. Also on Saturday, mid-table clashes see Chiang Rai face troubled Port, and Si Saket host Osotspa. The big match of the day will be at Tepsadin, were BEC Tero (4th) welcome Bangkok Glass (7th), with both teams looking to climb the table as the teams around them take a breather.

On Sunday, there are just 3 matches: Khon Kaen v Pattaya, samut Songkram v PEA, and a relegation-zone battle between Navy and TTM Phichit.

On Wednesday, Port host TTM in their fixture that was postponed from Songkran.

In Division 1, last week's big result in Chai Nat saw BBCU take the outright lead. They will seek to keep Buriram at bay when they visit Saraburi on Sunday. Buriram will have the opportunity to apply some pressure when they host Supanburi they day before. In other Saturday fixtures, struggling Chantaburi face a Phuket team looking to move up again, PTT Rayong will look to continue their recent good form against a sliding Rajpracha, and lowly Chiang Mai face Songkla.

On Sunday, the two clashes that catch the eye, besides BBCU's match, are the Bangkok derby, and another relegation 6-pointer for RBAC. Bang Mod is the venue for the all Bangkok clash, with the Iron Bulls (FC) and the Angels both looking for a third consecutive win. After losing at home to Bangkok FC last week (and watching them escape the drop zone), bottom-placed RBAC travel another struggling side, Thai Honda, as they attempt to find goals, and more importantly points (they have 3 &5 repsectively), to close the 6-point gap between them and safety.

It looks like we might soon be getting Japanese officials overseeing TPL matches. There have been growing concerns about the standard of local refereeing and fears that certain clubs are being "favoured". It will be interesting to see what happens here.

Will we soon see foreign referees in the TPL?

http://www.clubwebsi....pl?news=532054

After watching the game last night Muang Thong v Police Utd there is a need to sort out some of these Thai referees as Police were robbed of a perfect goal in the first half.

The second half was one way traffic but had they been 2 down it may have been different.

I watched the game on TV & once the GK was sent off CRUTD fell apart....not sure if they were in the right frame of mind to play in the first place?

I agree with those remarks.I was at the game and you could sense that some of the players did not want to be playing.

Which given the incident proir to the game is understandable :jap: .

Is there a new fixture for the second leg of TPL? It seems some of the matches have changed dates

Also, info on the Chelsea game vs the Thai All stars would be appreciated, as well as the Liverpool game in October -

Women's tournies, matches, and friendlies would be great, too -

thank you!
