I don't fancy dealing with the traffic chaos of Pattaya for New Years Eve this year, so thought I would stay in Ban Chang for a change. Does anyone know of anything happening?

I spent Loy Krathong on Nam Rin beach, and whilst there was nothing organised as such, there was a great atmosphere with loads of people and fireworks. Is NYE likely to be the same? Is there somewhere better you would suggest?

Ban Chang for NYE? All the golfers go to bed by 9 PM and they roll the street up. Hard day on the links.
