Great Band, Great song. One of many examples of where bands covered Dyln better than he performed himself. That said, the Dylan version is awesome as well.

Last night in the States at the Grammy Awards......

If you like Jeff Beck this was cool.....

They did a tribute to Les Paul with Imelda May

Very cool as Beck plays in the style of Les Paul

All through a tiny tweed Fender amp...Nice...

Ah! Jeff Beck, used to live in the same village as me back in Sussex - Although I lived in a tiny bungalow with no heating, he lived in a converted castle...

My wood supplier (for my wood burning stove) used to deliver wood to Jeff's castle... He told me he was round the back of the castle one day stacking logs, as you do... when who should walk by and say hello... Tina Turner! In Sussex!, by a wood pile! Amazing!

Met Jeff quite a few times, he drives a car like ZZ Top... but he is the grumpiest bugger in town...

Thanks that was interesting....Yes I know about his classic car collection...hence his guitar shop album...

Funny too your mention of grumpy...

He is brilliant yet in all his interviews he seemed unsatisfied in some way...

great version of the classic " i dont want to talk about it" by everything but the girl.

love some of the collaborations tracey thorn did with the style council. including their hit "the paris match" off the cafe bleu album.

lambchop "up with people"

and my favourite "you masculine you"

Hope you're happy. Your vid there made me cry. What a lovely story and a beautiful doggy. It shall be sent around the world to my friends and family.

I have nothing against dogs, i have had dogs in my life. But, the way i live now and where i live it would be unkind to have a mutt. Cooped up all day etc. I regularly dogsit Bellisse, my neighbours dog.

The cat has his ladder to come and go as he pleases, plus i have great neighbours who ring my door bell when he comes into the building. Last night i went downtown, I had to leave a message on the main door to not let the cat in because i was out. When I got home around midnight (after a taxi accident) my wee boy was waiting on the doorstep.

Yup, the taxi veered off the road and shook me up badly, i threw some money at him and walked the rest of the way. Got a bump on the side of my head, but more shaken up in my brain than anything else. I am going to call the taxi firm to report him. I think he was drunk. I know i was, but have always had faith in taxi drivers. How can a car veer off the road on a straight road? I got his number but not the taxi firm's number, which i will get from the barman who ordered it.

And people think Switzerland is boring.

That was not good experience for anyone, Patsy.

Patsy, I was not pointing at you, it was a YouTube perfect for this fred..

Cat lovers are varied.

Some I know condemn dogs outrite, I feel sorry for them.

This wonderful video and story is rite up there with other compassionate vids

I HAD to post it, well worth the sharing.

And as i said - it has gone round the world to all the people close to me. Not just for the vid, but also for the charity.

Patsy, good onya.

I had lotsa feedback from my email contacts.

100% positive

Simple reasoning shows why DOGS are so superior to CATS.

If this does not make feel good towards dogs, then yer heartless.

Amazing dog.

Edit for spelling...grrr

Thanks for that, Pete. Makes my day. I'll post it on another forum of dog lovers.
