Tawan Daeng In Ubon

Where exactly is it in UBON, Is it near the bus terminal on Rd 231? We will be staying at the Sunee Hotel in May and would like to take in at least one evening of drinking and Morlum. Songtaews run by the hotel but whats the chances of catching one back later in the night.

If you are staying at Sunee, just head north on Chayangkul Rd. Turn left, west at the junction with 231. Go passed the Main Bus Terminal maybe 1 kilometer or so not far from the next junction, and you will see Tawan Daeng Ubon on the left hand side. It sits back from 231 a bit but there is a large tall sign close enough to see well

No problem about getting back to Sunee after the show - it's a very popular place and taxis will be there for sure.

Thanks for the replies. I didn't think getting back would be much of a problem but this should set my Thai wife at ease.

see saw club was the best place in Ubon, is it still there? Extremely good show and several styles of morlam sung when I last went there five years ago.
