Internet And Ubc

Featured Replies

Are there any good options to having the internet instead of TOT?

Are ther any options to the satellite other than UBC?

in BURIRAM

I'm near Sakon Nakhon, but I think most of the options apply. I have a TOT landline with Maxnet internet (T.T.& T) It's pretty good. Another option may be CAT.

For internet I have been using the AIS mobile package 200 baht for 50 hours. The phone connects via USB at 460kbps. So, maybe not for watching video but I find it's OK. (AIS has other packages but this one fits for me.)

FYI: it's Truevision now (no longer UBC). I pay for one year at a time to get 13 months. The satellite options just don't have the channels I like to watch and, from what I hear from those who do have them, the security updates required get frustrating. Maybe a case of "you get what you pay for?"

Cheers

I live outside Buriram and have look with no luck for a better orvider.

Will follow your thread with much interest.
