Getting To Chantaburi

Featured Replies

Anyone know any 1st class or direct buses that go from Rayong to Chantaburi? I know about the old jalopy that runs from Bangkok through Satahip and on to Cahantaburi but I wasn't impressed with it, very slow.

The bus station in Royong say there are only buses to Bangkok, however i've read elsewhere there is a regular service every 30mins to Chantaburi, don't know where to catch it from though, is there more than one bus station in Rayong?

Yes, there is a very new one as well, but I don't know anything more than I drove past it a couple of weeks ago and my wife, who has relatives in Rayong, commented on it.

But on another occasion 2 year ago I caught a decent bus from Chantaburi to Rayong, so they do have them (at least the other way).

Probably not much help except to say you are probably right!
