I'm devastated to learn that Mexicans eat white bread, I've always believed they lived on those lovely chewy tortilla things. :)

I met a financial analyst recently. She's funny, smart, tall, beautiful, stacked, and feminist. Happily married to a Thai.

Anyone we know :)

I recall that even before feminism all a certain type of woman wanted to be was nothing more than pampered arm candy to a wealthy/powerful man. The advent of feminism wont change that desire if that is what the women wants, there will always be a man who wants that type of woman too so let them continue to find each other.

I have more bad news for you, some Jews eat bacon too. :D

In another life I was a reasonably accomplished Bridge player and belonged to a club that boasted many of the city's upper class as members.

I occasionally received what I perceived to be signals from wealthy, mature single women that there may be a place for me on THEIR arm if I played my cards right. Not that I fall into the young stud category, far from it, but I suppose knowing what a fish knife is for and the basics of Splinter bids must count for something. :D

Tortillas - usually made from corn, sometimes whole wheat. But a veteran journalist from USA says the stores are full of white Bimbo. They bought the Mrs. Baird's company in Texas.

On topic, a blond may be bimbo if she wants. Or a financial analyst or politician like former cheerleader Kaye Bailey Hutchison. Or a male brown-haired bimbo like former cheerleader GW Bush, Jr.

Personally I prefer my bimbo brown. Not only tastes good but better for you. :)

PB, you just broke my heart.

One of my fondest memories when growing up was going to Mrs. Baird's bakery in San Angelo to get a few loaves of uncut, freshly baked bread. We would then tear the bread apart, add butter and gorge ourselves.

I actually started slicing bread myself last year after decades of sliced bread.

The best baker in Chiang Rai seems to have their breadslicer permanently set on four slices to the loaf, somewhat thick for my taste so I request it unsliced now.

The first slice is the crust and always tastes the best!

Don't get me started on baking bread! I'll be tempted to post another of my cooking threads. I love bread... a little too much. Thankfully, I can't get the same great bread here as I do back in Canada. And, because I don't have a kitchen in my Chiang Mai room, I'm not tempted to bake my own. I just LOVE adding all those great bits of nuts and grains to my loaves.

BIMBO is the main brand of white bread in Mexico. :)

The street right behind my old company's office in Budapest is called Bimbo.

Someone asked about WAGs...

Don't envy the WAGs - I've seen inside their world and it's shallow, lonely and miserable

'Coffee?' she asked in a breathy voice, indicating an impossibly shiny kettle in a kitchen so clean and white it gave you snow blindness just to look at it. Her tiny top was white, matching the sparkling tips of her nails. This was clearly a woman who didn't spend her days carrying out mundane household tasks.

I took my coffee in a beautiful white china cup and followed this tiny, slim woman into a sitting room as white as her kitchen.

I was having coffee with one of the England football team WAGs - a beautiful girl who, though only in her 20s, explained to me that she'd had Botox, fillers, a breast enhancement and tummy tuck to keep herself as beautiful as possible.

'You have to,' she said with all seriousness, her extended eyelashes fluttering so much I feared she might take flight. 'You have to do all you can to keep your man because he's being flirted with whenever he leaves the house and being told by everyone that he's amazing. If he doesn't come back here and find me perfect and the house perfect, one day he won't come back at all.'

Full story.

Sooo apt for the thread. Sooo sad too.

As someone that falls into the quality man category I think it's time my Mrs worked a little harder to keep me.

I went into town for tacos tonight and any number of girls would have been only too pleased to have me.

That's before I ate the tacos of course. :)

It is true. Even though I have always been entirely straight, I get strong homosexual urges every time sceadugenga visits me in my shop. Brad Pitt has nothing on him in the looks department. :)

:) If any one but you had said it I'd be worried General.

Your sexual urges are like your politics, pretty square. :D

If I get too turned on, I will think of that redneck Strom Thurmand buck naked and should be able to get everything under control.

I think Im with Boo on this one

does it matter what they/we look like? so what if some parts of their bodies are bigger/smaller, and what colour their skin is?

there will be a man or woman that find such appearance appealing. and there will be men and women who could find completely different types of bodies and physical appearance appealing at different times.

if the individuals with those bodies are happy with it, why not. sure a lot of it is influenced by expectations - of the media, of the opposite gender that they want to target......

but in the end if these women want to do things to fit into that look, and they do it by choice....its up to them

if some of us prefer not to try to alter our physical appearance, and we are happy with that....again its our choice

choice being the key word I think

:)

in my case? I know some of the things I eat and do could be bad for me long term.....Im conscious of it.....I sometime feel I have no control but in reality I know I do....but I make the choice to indulge in my current pleasures :D and may suffer in the future......blah! what am I saying? I must be depressed.

[reaches out for another pack of timtam mmmmmmmm life is good again]

Do you know the TimTam trick of biting off the very tip of each end, then using it like a straw to drink hot coffee?

You have to be quite quick because the biscuit will crumble, but if you get it just right, the inside melts just perfectly while the choccy on the outside keeps it together.

Gobble the whole thing immediately.

I think I'm going to get that previously melted Snickers bar out of the fridge right now. :)

You know what happens when you go on a diet, don't you?

You lose weight everywhere you DON'T want to lose weight, and it remains the same in places where you wanted some reduction...

Weird_Ian_Em.sized.jpg

Clever, Ian. Especially since you kept the background undistorted.

:)

The importance of weight loss for me, and I've still got a bit of a "gut" was the relief I got in my arthritic ankles which now have to support 40kg less. Hey that's a bag of cement!

I'm a bit old for serious exercise, plus it bores me stupid, but it seems to work out ok doing a lot of walking.
