I have just taken delivery of the new upgraded CRV 2.4. It comes with Gps as standard.

I have managed to get the voice and buttons displayed in English but the map and destinations are all in Thai. So if i am searching for an address it will only recognise Thai script.

Does anyone know how I get it in ENglish??

Need to know what GPS system (Garmin GVN 52/53?), model, and map they are using. Normally what you describe could be a map, database, or operating system issue.

It has been reported on ThaiVisa Forum that Honda will install the English map and database for you. There is nothing you can do from the control unit to get rid of the Thai script. You have a Thai based GPS.

I bought a CRV Prestige in March and had the same problem. Nothing you can do yourself, you need to change the software to and English version.

My dealer did this for me. It took a few weeks for them to receive this.

Just ask you dealer that you would like to have everything in English.
