Poipet visa run

Featured Replies

Going toPoipet for an exit /entry stamp.

How much is the Cambodian visa, and how much/where do I "help" those nice Cambodian immigration officials to do the job quickly, if you get my drift. (Do you "accidently" leave a 100 baht note in your passport or what?)

I went to Cambodia 3 weeks ago and I just filled out the visa form and gave it to man at the counter together with my photo, my passport and 1000 Baht. Than I just sit down and waited around 5 - 10 minutes. That's it!

I did a visa run to poipet last friday (24th oct ), there is apost in the general section of thia visa where I described my effort.

but , to summarise.. 1000 baht or $20US  and a photo is all that is required for the visa..you sit in the waiting area then when you walk accross and get to the cambodian immigration, they ask you if you are going straight back to thailand..if you are they expect you to give them 100baht.. have it ready to slip through the window... that is all that you are required to pay.. if you are in pattaya I think there is an easy bus trip that costs 2000baht for everything..trip..food...visa.. leaves at about 730am from the post office and you are back at around 530pm...do a search on google  poi pet visa run  ...
