Cm Immigration What Documents? Renewal Retirem

Featured Replies

Moved from Phuket to CM finally. Happy.

Immigration offices seem to have different requirements for docs.

Have to renew retirement visa.

800.000b 3 month deposit ok,

update needed to prove balance unchanged over 3 months?

copy of rent contract?

copies of all passport pages?

photo ok.

what else?

You will need a letter from bank confirming the account balance (to agree with passbook, and showing balance of 800k+ for last 3 months) just before going to immigration, and will need to take that with you together with completed application form TM7, recent passport sized photo, copy of bank passbook and copy of passport. A map to you residence might be asked for together with some proof such as rent receipt/lease but that should be all. Fee 1,900 baht.

Remember if you plan to travel abroad during the period of the extension you will need to obtain a re-entry permit from immigration to keep your permission to stay alive. Fee 1,000 baht single entry; 3,800 baht multi entry.

Just out of interest does any one know how long the letter from the Bank confirming account balance is good for?

24 hours or less at most places it seems. Believe it is a judgment call.
