Police Officer Suspended from Duty for Killing Young Delinquent in Chon Buri

CHONBURI: -- A Chon Buri police officer has been suspended from duty for shooting dead a delinquent biker.

Police Major General Thanet Pinmuang-ngarm, commander of the Chon Buri provincial police, suspended Police Senior Sergeant Major Venus Noppakhun from duty for killing a young delinquent.

Venus was reportedly stationed at a convenience store and a gas station on Bypass road when he had a quarrel with a group of bikers.

The policeman fired two bullets at the gang, killing a 17-year-old biker named Amarin Iamsa-ard and wounding 14-year-old Noppon Phromjeen.

The funeral for Amarin has been arranged at Chon Buri's Utaphao Temple.

Meanwhile, the boy's parents have insisted on bringing the case to court.

Good luck to the parents for bringing the case to court. Now if the kid had been driving a merc the parents might have the means to take it to court but as he was only on a bike I think they will struggle and the cop will be on the beat again in another town.
