Best Unlimited Gprs Internet Package In Phuket?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know what the best package for mobile Internet is on my Nokia telephone?

I would prefer an unlimited package. AIS? True? DTAC? Others?

I'm located in Phuket. Thanks for any feedback.

Both AIS and Dtac is just under 1000 Baht/month for unlimited access.

True is I think 590 Baht/month at the moment.

No idea on Phuket, but in my area True is dreadfully slow, with even now still many cells not yet upgraded to Edge.

For AIS you can call the automatic system to set GPRS up (in English), they give you all the choices and their prices (listen for monthly packages). Or call 1175 for their call center.

With Dtac you can also do it through an automated system, but only in Thai (*1004). If your Thai is not up to scratch, just call the call center at 1678

According to this post True is no good in Phuket...

Hi

AIS 650 B unlimited, BB plan but just tell them you have one

THanks for both of the quick answers. Very helpfull. I tried out the true service yesterday.... much slower than ais... the lady said it was because true uses 850 mghz instead of 1800.

Thanks for the tip on the BB plan for 650... that sounds like the deal.

Hi

Nope, thats the Black Berry plan they have, i had the 990 Baht plan but just called in and told them i wanted the BB plan. You can read about it in another tread here
