...working as a teacher but she wont help me

was on a o before but just want a b now

"B" stands for "Business", for example employment with a work permit and the supporting documents from your employer for the visa application. Different Thai consulates use different requirements, but I see no chance of your getting a non-B visa without the cooperation of your employer. You may be able to get a multiple-entry non-O visa for the purpose of visiting friends, the nearest consulate for this being in Perth, Australia, but you say you don't want a non-O.

The dodgy comment was probably because they thought you were working illegally without a work permit. For quite awhile now, everything I've read suggests that the consulates in the surrounding region will not issue a Non-B Visa without a work permit, or the receipt for the application for a work permit. Even with those items, only a few will issue a one year visa.

As mentioned above, you may want consider going to Perth if you don't have the proper documents from your employer or the documents from your own company.

As said, you will not obtain Non-B visa in the region without supporting company/employment papers. Your best option would be a trip to Perth and apply for a 12 month multiple entry Non-O visa on the basis of visiting friends. Will have to do border runs every 90 days; do a final border run before your visa expires to obtain new 90 day permission to stay stretching your visa to 15 months. You would need to take with you signed copy of ID card/passport of Thai friend.

That will give you time to sort out your business plans. I assume you would be working in the business, and you can use Non-O visa (in the same way as Non-B visa) to support work permit application. If/when the business can provide 2 years audited accounts/tax receipts, and you meeting minimum salary requirements (50k/month for westerner, but varies on nationality), you could apply for 12 month extension of stay based on employment at Thai immigration.
