Patong Darts League Roundup: Week 4

PATONG, PHUKET: -- Four weeks into the season Piccadilly remain at the top of the pack after an impressive 7-2 home win against Shakers.

Most of the games were close, but Shakers had a case of ‘double trouble’ when it mattered most. Matt of Shakers got the high score with a 140.

Queen Mary took a 5-4 advantage over Celtic, but Liam and his thirsty friends went on to take the beer and assure a draw on points.

Boozers beat Market Bar 5-4, then went on to take the beer leg.

Newcomers Ryan’s Daughter got whitewashed at home, but proprietor Big John took it in his stride. “Never mind, at least we are the best looking team in the league right now!” he said. Colin of Beach House took the high score in that match.

February 16 results: Piccadilly* 7 - 2 Shakers; Queen Mary 5 - 4 Celtic*; Market Bar 4 - 5 Boozers*; Ryan’s Daughter 0 - 9 Beach House* (* = winner of beer leg).

Standings: Piccadilly (28 points); Beach House (24); Market Bar (20); Boozers (19); Celtic (18); Shakers, Queen Mary (17); Ryan’s Daughter (7).

February 23 matches: Shakers v Queen Mary, Piccadilly v Market Bar, Celtic v Ryan’s Daughter, Boozers v Beach House. (Home teams first)
