Changing Name In Green Book Fom Thai To Thai

Featured Replies

Hello.

I bought a used honda click about 2 years ago from my neighbour,i have the green book but we never changed the names in the book.

Now that i am moving to chiang mai we want to register it in my girlfriends name(thai) and the previous owner is thai also.

So can anybody please tell me where we have to go to do that in bangkok and what papers we need?I can take the previous owner with me if necessary.

we live in the saphan mai(rangsit) area!

Thx for your help.

I cant believe nobody can answer that question.

If i only knew what kind of office etc i had to call this would help already!

Thx.

I think the question is too basic to the point it seems like a troll. People are probably finding it hard to believe that a "senior member" since May doesn't know the answer to this. And how is it possible that your Thai GF doesn't know to simply go to your nearest Land Transport Department to change the name in a book? I know for me I stopped answering a lot of newbie questions when it's clear the OP made no effort to find an answer for themselves using the search feature here. Yours feels like that, but I'll take go ahead and help you out.

A quick search for "change name green book" yielded these threads which should help:
