I am considering buying a Suzuki Intruder 1400. I know there are not so many of these around. Does anyone have experience of getting spares for Suzukis in Thailand?

YEP. Same as any other grey import. order from abroad. USA is usually the best and hope you dont get creamed on the customs.

BUT Hopefully now Suzuki have started selling big bikes here in LOS things might get better.

Try to read about the Intruder, know a few guys there have had a lot of problems with the Intruder, i think to remember something about the gears, not sure.
