PART 2

In owning a new car (without Dealer's financing services), on some occasions, the Ministry of Land Transport will request to see the Owner's work permit, but on some occasions, they don't.

In owning a new car (with Dealer's financing services), you are definitely required to have a work permit which would specifically be used for financing issues.

In terms of obtaining the registration number plates, you (as the owner) would be required to show the House Registration, of which would be used to record in the Car Registration Book. On some occasions, your Dealers (Sale Agent) would facilitate and co-ordinate with the Ministry of Land Transport Officer in registering the plate numbers. contact sunbelt Legal Advisors for more info.
