Need To Rent A One Storey House In Ubon Ratchathani

Hello,

I need to rent a single storey house in Ubon. A property with a family house and an adjacent cottage is what I really need (if anyone knows of such a property).

House should not be more than 20 minutes from Ubon city. The closer the better.

I need fast internet so that may limit how far from the city I can stay.

2 bedrooms and 2 baths are the minimum. Hot water in at least one bathroom. A water holding tank and pump would be nice. Good windows. Seat toilets, etc, etc.

I basically need a Farang house.

I'm offering a 5,000 baht finders fee to anyone who refers the house that my wife decides on.

Thanks in advance

hello Ken,

why don't you find a real-estate agent or property management company to find a preferred rental within your budget in Ubon for you.

there are a lot of new developments up and coming up within the city limits that may interest you and your wife. Also, some of the

new development houses (single storey) cost around 1.5 - 2.0 million baht, 3 bedroom 2 bath, fenced, 1 carport and small yard.

Hi,

The highest price I've seen in Ubon city for a true Farang house (minus adjacent cottage) is 12,000 baht per month. This house is currently being rented. I had another house lined up (for 8,000) but the current renter talked the Thai landlord into taking another renter (who was willing to pay 40,000 baht for most of this guys stuff).

I'm sure the Thai landlord will get a cut (probably worked out for the best not dealing with that landlord).

Did you have a house in mind?

Hello,

I'm not sure if I want to live in Thailand but if I do decide to live in LOS I doubt I will live in Ubon.

Ubon is good for the wife and the 2 toddlers, now, but I would want the kids to be enrolled in a more competitive educational experience than is currently available in Issan.

Thanks for the info on the new housing developments. I'll have the brother in law check if there any rentals and I'll PM you if he finds anything the wife wants.

Hi there are a few houses for rent that match your description on the Sisaket road, behind the Vertex Factory. About 10 minutes drive from Ubon town center. rents are from 3000 to 5000 baht per month.

Hello agian. I think my budget is less important than the rental price history of the properties that are available or a comparison of such property if said property is new.

I can rent at anytime from now until May 20th.

Thanks

Ken
