Visa Question

Hello All

Can anyone help me. I am just about to do my monthly visa run, and

I was told by my girlfriends friend that she has just arrived back

from Penang with a six month double entry visa?

Can someone tell me what type of visa this is, Is it legal?, and the

cost etc. I am not married to my girlfriend yet and I'm thinking

whether this type may be more apropriate.

It sounds like a Tourist Visa with two entries. Each entry enables a stay of 60 days and can be extended for a month on each entry. That is, 2 x 90 day stays, with two extensions. Validity of the visa is 6 months meaning that both entries must be made within that 6 months.
