Hi there,

Can anyone here recommend a good laundry service in Pattaya which wont ruin my clothes. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Where abouts do you stay? If its convenient, friends of mine Ken & Jo own a laundry shop and have a good reputation according to the amount of customers thay have.

I forget the name (Beach something?) but if you turn left at the end of Thepprasit road and head towards Jomtien beach their place is 100 meters down on the left hand side. Most of the residents in the nearby condo's are customers and all seem to be more than happy. Jo & her family run the place well and Jo's english is good so you can explain to her any special requirements.

If its near you, try it and see. :o

A new service has just opened in Duck Square. State of the art. Pick and delivery

A gain depending on where you are you might be surprised how close the local is. Just give them a coupl;e of items and see if your satisfied.

Any one wanna open a Chinese Laundry and a proper dry cleaners combined with a proper laundromat. All investors welcome!!!

I can recommend one in Soi Wat Boon, Jomtien.

Its the first one that you come to up from the beach.

I was so impressed with the service that I married the owner. :o

My landlady's sister runs a typical Thai laundry on the bottom floor of our (her) building (soi Day-Night 2). No drycleaning, just wash, dry and iron.

Last time I took a (wool) suit into a dry-cleaner, asked explicitly if they knew how to dry-clean a wool suit and sure enough, it came back half the size it used to be !

Just as well, now I have an excuse for not wearing it any more ! :o

I use the Home Laundry (opposite the Residence Gardens Hotel) , Thappraya Road when I'm in Pattaya. They're honest and not expensive. I had left money in my trousers when I put them in to be washed and got the money back the next day. If it hadn't been returned, I'd have been none the wiser.

I've used many laundries in Pattaya :o over the years, depending where I've been staying, & haven'y found a bad one yet. Those in North Pattaya (Naklua Road) tend to be a little more expensive.

Yes apologies I should have mentioned whereabouts I am staying. I am on Pattaya 3rd Road not too far from the bus station and just round the corner from tesco/lotus. Any near places would be highly appreciated.
