Thai Passport Renewal

Featured Replies

My wife's Thai PP is due renewal soon. I found a government website that gives information on renewal by post using an application form available at Post Offices.

Has anyone tried this? Was the procedure reliable?

Believe some have reported using it but do not recall any detail. I would make the run out to Laksi if living in Bangkok however. They can mail it back so only one trip required and electronic photo is taken during renewal process (if new passport required). If just signature to extend validity you go to another area and believe they still use instant photos.

this topic belongs in another area so will just move it in there

Thanks Lop, presumably the MoFF office is in Laksi area? Can you be more specific?

They said it takes 2 weeks.
