planning on trip to phuket in september. Have previously been to patong, wanted to know if there are other places that are quite livley and fun but not as in your face as patong.

Karon, Kata, Rawai, Chalong. Still low season - so plenty of empty hotel rooms and plenty of available... bar stools.
