Can't apply for DTV yet, what are my best options to stay here?
Neither have I It's the comfort level, ease of everything, infrastructure. They're really not nomads, they're not even placebaggers. Deathly afraid of the unknown and also not being on Internet 5g drip feed. Going to Thailand is no longer as *adventurous* as going to the mall in your home country. It's still a decent place to continue in retirement, I wouldn't recommend coming here in 2025 and planning to die here. Much changed and much more will change -

Anybody planning to go back to the US?
He can still spend 3 months or more each year in Thailand. If you're in a remote place, you need to find ways to keep yourself occupied indoors. And hopefully have a good gf/wife because that's all you got out there. -

National Anthem
The joggers and exercisers in Benjakiti Park still pause in the morning when the anthem plays. Well, as of two years ago when I was staying next to the park and goin there every morning.- 1
