My Thai adult son is in process of selling his townhouse. It was purchased new about three years ago.

We are lost on what taxes / fees will be payable when the chanut is transferred to the new owner.

Hopefully this will be before taxes change back to the original percentages.

Visit the land department that handles the district that the townhouse is located in.

Bring a photocopy of the chanote and they will be able to tell you how much tax/fees will be due on transfer, both before and after the May 31 tax deadline.
