Kanchanaburi Train Derailment

Featured Replies

The River Kwai Bridge tourist train had a little accident with a big bus today. Luckily there were no injuries, apart from the train driver walking around rubbing his head and saying "puat hua". :D

No barriers, no lights flashing, no guard with a red flag, just a toot of the horn to say "get out of the way, train coming through". With all the music :) from the bus i doubt the driver even heard it. There is a warning sign 'Beware Trains' and I suppose he could of looked left and right :D before advancing over the tracks but TIT.

The driver of the bus was standing next to me, when this kind thai man pointed out this sign. :D

Good post 'Boycie'. :D

Tks for the photos also :)

Looks like it was going to the famous Bridge over the River Khwae (Kwai) then and the bus leaving the car/bus park.

This is the second time that I know of this happening in the very place, same one doing the boogie woogie :D First time it when off the rails by itself.

Sawadee :D
