Camera Equipment Insurance In Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi Guys .

Coming back to Thailand in July and would like to know if anyone has insured their camera gear in LOS with a Thai based company and if so do you have contact/ info / websites.

Currently insuring via a UK company and will give them a shout but not sure what the premiums would be what with the sad developments recently. So would obviously like to see what the prices are on the ground.

Appreciate any help and look forward to contributing to the forum .

I looked into it but was unable to find a company that would cover the gear, especially when out of the house.

In Chiang Mai, I use AA Insurance. They insure your photographic equipment against damage or theft while it's at home or out on the road. AA Insurance can give you details of very cost effective policies to cover this and your home contents including computers and the like. Average cost for a year is 4 - 6,000 baht depending on the value of your stuff. http://www.aainsure.net

AA Chiang Mai Office: 053 230 127

Disclaimer: I am only affiliated with AA as a paying customer. I do not receive any money, rewards, or discounts for referrals.
