Irish National found dead in his Pattaya apartment

PATTAYA:-- On Monday Afternoon, Police Lieutenant Colonel Tailert from Dongtan Police Sub-Station on Jomtien Beach was called to Bee’s Corner Restaurant and Bar located in Soi Watboonganjanaram off Jomtien Beach to deal with a foreign fatality. Inside a 4th floor room was the body of Mr. David Hourigan aged 33 from The Republic of Ireland. His badly decomposed naked body was lying on the bed and Police suspect he had been dead for at least 3 days.

How very sad for his loved ones.

Far too young to die, only 33 ..

I hope his death was due to natural causes.

One can only speculate but there are just too many unexplained deaths like this in Pattaya.

Every traveller should be warned again and again of the dangers before they leave their home country.

Especially of accepting drinks from a stranger, even in your own room.

Something very odd about this death. The guy was one of the top amateur cyclists in the British Isles. Still very fit at 38 and apparently not the proverbial piss head.

I am constantly amazed at the number of 'farang deaths alone' in apartments. Certainly living in patts/jomtien might not be the best place in the world for those whose minds are already on the brink but the frequency of this type of incident does not add up.
