Why Are The Loudest Screamers About Marital Fidelity Always Caught Having Extramarital Sex?

Featured Replies

The list is endless, with the Christian Jim Bakker and Jimmy Swaggart in the US being ones that spring immediately to mind, but you see it all the time. The men who scream the loudest about how awful infidelity is are always the ones engaging in it even while screaming about it.

It has been suggested these people have sexual urges. They act on said urges. After the fact, the guilt of what they 'Think' they should be doing is in conflict with what they have just done.

Is it a direct result of fanaticism, at least in members of the "Religious Right"? Does the dogma that insists on a 'Don't do this, Do that ...' behavior, and any deviation from that results in tremendous guilt?

I have read a number of threads recently about retirement and writing and Pattaya and it always comes up in almost fanatical terms that men who mess around especially with younger women are somehow terrible people and at the very least destined for financial if not moral ruin.

Are the people who scream the loudest about it unable to deal with their own sexual urges and that is why they complain so much?

It says more about you than about others that you would link adulterers with old guys in Pattaya who like younger women.

I am not married, don’t live in Pattaya and don’t have a younger woman.

You made the link not me.

My topic is Why are the loudest screamers about marital fidelity always caught having extramarital sex?

I guess it is inevitable that someone would make the link because that was my point. Someone always does.

If you write about anything in a Thai forum, like I suggested, Writing, Retirement or Pattaya. Someone always ties in old guys, younger women and adultery.

Edit PS added. I will be very surprised if anyone answers the question. I would assume the thread will be taken up mostly with people critiquing me in one way or another while skirting the issue.

Please re-read your post. You asked about marital infidelity and then you brought up old guys in pattaya. :)

Perhaps I should have asked the question in a different manner.

I was wondering why the people who scream the loudest about marital infidelity are always caught having extramarital sex.

An example of this screaming is the constant repetition on certain Thai forums of the trinity of Thailand; old men, young women and Pattaya.

Are the people who seem to introduce these subjects in almost any discussion the ones who feel guilty about their own urges and most likely to get caught having extramarital sex?

And he got the idea from the Gay Forum :):D:D

SBK posted it in the gay forum. I thought the logic behind the posts also applies to hypocrites everywhere.

Those people who seem to have to have little tolerance for anyone who thinks different than they do seem to have to shout it on the hill tops.

When the subject matter hit’s a nerve, internet warriors seem to attack the poster rather than debate the issue.

Why is this funny?

Unless the old guys are cheating on their wives, I still think you are making a link that is not there.

An OP (not me) asked a question in a different thread about retirement with the current political turmoil and this is one of the answers he got. “Women; If you've lived here before for any appreciable length of time, you'll understand that 99% of relationships between farang and easily won over Thai (Lao Issan) girls are bogus. So avoid. If you're 65 and the girl next to you is half your age or most often less . . . you know you've done a wrongun'.”

Why would a person be motivated to post a response like this? A Bigot? Envious? Morals?

I would think his negative response smacks of envy. More likely than not instead of advice his comments foreshadow his desire for exactly what he is warning about.

People who constantly knock Pattaya for it’s moral shortcomings are in fact announcing to the world they are envious of the folks who live there.

The religious right that flock to Bangkok to save poor women or western sinners are in fact motivated by money or a desire to be part of the night life action instead of a desire to alleviate suffering or improve peoples lives.

I think it is the same kind of situation with people who bash gays. There is a good chance that gay bashers are closet gays the same as there is a good chance that people who bash the lack of western morals of some in Thailand are in fact wanting to give those lack of morals a try.

Wow, thats tenuous at best. Envy, no, speaking as a woman, I can tell you I have no envy whatsoever.

Do people like mark really exist, or is this just a big wind up?

I wouldn’t imagine you are a closet gay either.

The latest survey from ABC news says that 63 percent of married women would rather sleep or go to a movie than have sex anyway. This may be a reason that so many men come to Thailand.

I don’t think women think that much about sex as opposed to men. 70% of Men think about sex daily and only 34% of women. 19 year old men think about sex ten times a minute. Some surveys claim that men think about sex 2000 times more often than women. 52% of men think about sex once a minute seems an accurate figure. Women once every few days.

I have no doubt that you are not envious of male sexuality. I don’t know about the ins and outs of penis envy complexes and the ways those are manifested currently in Thailand. It seems it might be a rather complicated study.

sceadugenga moves seat back a little, puts popcorn in microwave, rings Animal Planet for camera crew and waits for penis envying sbk and eek to prepare responses.

I think he is just a trial version of the next genertion of Spiderbots.

Whoops, nearly forgot the :)

Blah di blah di blah.

Mark, you make my morose day more interesting with your yabbering about stuff I know nothing about.

Bravo.

And just for you :)

lmao. Another attempt at psychoanalyzing me. I love these. They are my favorite. It never ceases to amaze me that some people think they can glean tiny little nuggets about my life and my personality from my posts enough to figure out my psyche thoroughly. And they always get it wrong. But hey, laughing at the ridiculousness of it adds some spice to my life :)

let see, blah blah blah

Jebus you really need to get laid or something. What a boring troll.

Well let's face it, at least he's consistant. You know what you're getting when you open a Mark45y thread.

Why do people scream the loudest over the behaviour of others who have absolutely no impact on their life?

<edit : anyway for someone who is so deeply disturbed by this phenomenon your "endless list" ended pdq.>

Actually I didn’t give a darn about the topic. I wanted to see if anyone in bedlam could talk about sex. So I copied another post from another sub forum by a well respected person and only changed a couple of words. It wasn't really my topic I only changed a couple of words because I wanted to avoid my sexual stereotype.

I thought that my post although almost exactly like the other would be met with sarcasm, and derision and that almost no one would give me a straight answer.

In addition to that I suspected that almost everyone would take the opportunity to tell me what a bad person I was.

What came across crystal clear was no one actually read the OP. And second, no one answered the questions posed.

So it would be rather senseless for me to write any other types of posts because anything I write about from cats to cockleshells will be interpreted as a post of a sexual nature.

I have learned something. I can take a post from anyone and post it under my name and it becomes sexual and fair grounds for all sorts of venting.

I remember reading Somtow's blog a couple of years ago. He says people in the west talk about sex a lot but aren't having much. He went on to say Thais hardly ever talk about it and are having plenty. He thought the Thai way was better. I think I remember nodding my approval as I read.

If that was the case the Irish would not talk about drinking. Perhaps you should check out some real statistics about sex by country.

If you think Thai's hardly ever talk about sex you must never watch TV or go to the movies or a stage show.

Why Are The Loudest Screamers About Gays Always Caught Having Gay Sex?

The list is endless, with the christian Ted Haggard in the US being one that springs immediately to mind, but you see it all the time. The men who scream the loudest about how awful homosexuality is are always the ones engaging in it even while screaming about it.

What is that all about? It seems to me that if you want to be secretly gay you wouldn't draw attention to yourself. Or if you have homosexual tendencies and this scares you into being anti -gay you wouldn't then engage in the behavior.

Or am I just applying too much logic to this?

Prone to exaggeration much there mark?

The headline and the first paragraph are almost identical. The rest I had to change a bit to accommodate the other subject matter. That is changing homosexuality to infidelity.

I still think the point is valid.

All it takes to berate a post for a variety of off topic reasons is to put my name on it.
