PATTAYA: -- the 9th of June 2010 [PDN]: At approximately 4:30am police Lieutenant Colonel Phatsa Detphakkul (Pattaya Police Investigator) was informed that a foreign couple have been assaulted by a group of Thai men on Rimpha Beach in Naklua. A team of officers and members from the Sawang Boriboon Rescue foundation were immediately dispatched to the incident to investigate.

Arriving at the scene, officers discovered the injured Mr. Viktor Mushchenko [33] a Ukrainian national and his distraught wife. Sawang Boriboon personnel immediately rushed Mr. Mushchenko to the Pattaya Memorial Hospital where he received emergency medical treatment for his facial injuries before proceeding to the Pattaya Police Station to give a statement with his wife.
