Cambodian Worker killed following road accident in Central Pattaya

On Sunday Afternoon, Pattaya Police along with rescue workers were called to the scene of a fatal road accident on the Sukumvit Road in Central Pattaya which left a Cambodian gardener dead. At the scene was a Black Toyota Wish car in the central reservation. Underneath the car was the body of Mr. Chuan, who worked for Nong Nooch Gardens in Jomtien. The driver of the car, Khun Somjai aged 58, who was determined to be in a drunken state was arrested at the scene. On the main carriageway were a number of other vehicles involved in the incident. Witnesses mentioned that the offending vehicle cut across three lanes of the carriageway and ended up inside the central reservation where the Cambodian man was working
