New Politics Candidate Pulls Out of By-Election

The New Politics Party candidate for the Bangkok by-election, General Kittisak Ratprasert, has announced that his will not be contesting on the July by-election. He says he has had a change of heart and does not want to contest in the same field as a terrorist suspect.

Smart man from the NPP

More people should object against this candidate from the red shirts.

He is in jail and a suspected terrorist.

After he can prove he is not guilty of any wrongdoing, then he can be a candidate in one of the next elections.

does not want to contest in the same field as a terrorist suspect

way to go gen . kittisak !

No, wrong! Why let a terrorist be elected? And why not take the opportunity of showing that Bangkok people don't want a terrorist representing them?

Foolish move, IMO. If he's so against the red candidate standing in the election, the best thing would be to fight and beat him at the ballot box. Imagine the scenario were all other candidates pull out leaving only one choice!!

Please note the pinned topic regarding politics in General, there is a thread or two discussing this in the news forum.
