Was kind of hoping the guys would hear as it means more of a wait for everyone when the people at the top of the list don't hear anything. Another long week rolls by Next week now guys :-(( Agreed... incy Posted August 25, 2010 Share Posted August 25, 2010 I'm inclined to think 10 weeks is a bit excessive, then all that money and you have to wait until you've opened your passport for the result. I dont understand how 1 application can be successful in <1 week, and others still ongoing after 10. The target process time is breath taking, 120 business days, 70 to go! As a side issue once you receive the SMS I guess you still have to go to Regents House. But what if you've paid for the passports to be posted special delivery - how much longer do you have to wait then - 2 or 3 days or more? Talk about prolonging the agony! I realise that we on this thread are not the only ones waiting,but I do think it is an excessive time to have to wait.My son is in Thailand waiting for his step daughters result,Most people have a job at home ,my son is self employed,and its a long time to be away.If he comes home bet your bottom dollar they will get the SMS and have to go back!!!! We put our application in on 24 June with a travel date of 15 August, it looks like we'll get out answer next week so we're not too far off.
