My name is Kenny, my company runs a tournament called the WORLD Longdrive Series.

I am not on here to advertise but I would appreciate some assistance.

Possible venues for the 2012 series are being sought, to make the series truley a global event many exotic areas of the globe are being considered, as such I am on here to find out information and make a few connections in this part of the World.

Are there any big golfing developments going on in Thailand just now?

Also, are there any quality golf companies that need international exposure?

I have many questions, but cannot post them all up - I would like to know of there is a national or Government agency thats purpose is to encourage tourism?

What is your definition of big golfing developments?

Golf in Thailand is extremely well developed, hosting major mens and womens tournaments each year

A few Thai players are in the top ranks of the European PGA and play in the USA PGA

Many women stars are well

There are 1000's of golf academies, junior tournaments etc trying to replicate the next Tiger Woods whose mother was from Thailand

There are an abundance of excellent golf courses all over Thailand

I fail to see how a long distance driving tournament could bring anything to a maturely established golf industry?

Maybe as a pre-event to a professional tournament?

As a potential sponsor?

Hard to say.
