July 13, 201015 yr Where to buy nexus one (google phone) in Phuket ? What is the price, what do you think of this smartphone ? Thanks for your informations
July 13, 201015 yr Have you tried Big C or Central http://www.smartmobile.co.th/pda/htc/Nexus_One.asp
July 13, 201015 yr I have it (purchased it in the US back on launch) It's fantastic! Slightly more current and equally good I would recommend the HTC Desire (2nd flr Central at AbexCyberCity) or the Samsung Galaxy S (Samsung shop) I noticed that the phone shop closest to Power Buy (part of power buy??) has a Motorola Milestone (GSM Droid) in stock if you are looking for something with a keyboard. while all those are good phones I will say that it's sometimes good to have the 'chosen' phone. I've been enjoying Froyo 2.2 and Flash 10.1 on my N1 from 2 months ago.
July 14, 201015 yr I got a nexus also.. But if buying here on the island, a mate got the galaxy for 22k with a year of data included (7.5k value) which seems a bargain to me.
July 14, 201015 yr Author I dont think that Nexus One has hit Thailand yet. Try again next year. My friend bought Nexus in MBK Bangkok....
July 16, 201015 yr I dont think that Nexus One has hit Thailand yet. Try again next year. Doubt that. Google announced today it was accepting the final batch of Nexus One phones from HTC. I think that means that it's unlikely to be continued for too much longer. HTC have some great models in the pipeline. The Nexus One is a fantastic phone, but there's better coming soon.

July 23, 201015 yr So nobody bought the Google Phone Nexus One in Phuket ? Bought a UK one and had it posted over.. Be aware that 3G here is on 850 with true, 900 with AIS, and 2100 with TOT and none are everywhere, if you want 3G know what bands you need before you buy, the Nexus one comes in both 850/2100 and 900/2100 flavors. To be honest, as great as I think the N1 is, the HTC desire or Samsung galaxy both are very comparable and much more readily available. Both would take a custom ROM for Froyo.
September 19, 201015 yr I got a nexus also.. But if buying here on the island, a mate got the galaxy for 22k with a year of data included (7.5k value) which seems a bargain to me. Where did he get the free year of data with the galaxy?
September 19, 201015 yr Unless you want to use it in the US, I don't see why going for a Nexus instead of a Desire, which is really easy to get in LOS. Oh and unless you can't wait a few more weeks than the owners of a N1 to get the latest Android version I have an Iphone 3Gs, and my wife an HTC Desire... sometimes I really feel like convincing her to use my Iphone and give me the Desire

Oh and unless you can't wait a few more weeks than the owners of a N1 to get the latest Android version Faster upgrades to the OS.. First phone to get Froyo and google already said they will support gingerbread.. Lack of Sense UI is a personal pref.. I pref Android unskinned. Tho I sorta like the home layout on the HTC.
