Apologies to the rest, for going off-thread. Hex, my comment was intended to express that being a luk krung is in fact often a disadvantage. For some reason, many people look at "being on TV, in movies, or music videos" as a point to make it seem like it's desireable to be a luk krung or have luk krung kids or that Thais "like" half castes. Yes, they like to put them into entertainment or to say "oh my, look how cute/hot/handsome/pretty" when looking at them. There's not much in the way of... let's groom this bi/trilingual individual to be a future captain of industry.
