Thai Gov'T Blocking Traffic? Anyone Getting This?

Featured Replies

I signed up for an account on vimeo today (like youtube), it wen't fine. Was told I have to verify my email address by clicking the link they sent in email. Did that, goes through some different traffic just fine, but then after ten seconds, down at bottom left of screen I see :

"Waiting for w3.mict.go.th..."

and stays like that maybe 20 seconds, then I get a "Page Load error - connection interrupted - document contains no data".

It says that after getting stuck at "mict.go.th".

Anyone else getting that? Any help?

Gosh, when you google "vimeo blocked" about every link that comes up talks about Vimeo being blocked in various countries. May be something about the creativity of videos on Vimeo.com.

It's possible the verification link points to "/www.vimeo.com/...", which is blocked by mict. Copy the verification link to notepad and remove all instances of www. leaving only vimeo.com (do not remove anything else). Paste the altered url into your browser and see if it works.
